The Merced Irrigation District has released its daily report on the Merced River flow and Lake McClure storage and elevation information for Wednesday.
Inflow into the lake is at 5,611 cubic feet per second. The storage at the lake is 1,003,929 acre feet, with capacity at 1,024,600 acre feet. An acre foot is 325,851 gallons or a year’s supply for an average family in the Valley. The elevation is at 864.07 feet above sea level. The flow in the Merced River below MID’s facilities and the Crocker-Huffman Diversion Dam is approximately 3,400 cubic feet per second.
