State Fund is offering a free seminar to help employers learn their legal obligations during the workers’ compensation claims process. The event takes place on July 22 in Merced.
Topics to be discussed include: Medical Provider Network (MPN) posting requirements; claims-reporting obligations; liability determinations, the investigation process and producing favorable outcomes; additional employer liability.
Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Merced Farm Bureau, 646 South State Highway 59. The seminar will end at 11 a.m.
