The Merced Irrigation District has released its daily report on the Merced River flow and Lake McClure storage and elevation information for Tuesday, July 12.
Inflow into the lake is at 3,349 cubic feet per second. The storage at the lake is 1,002,250 acre feet, with capacity at 1,024,600 acre feet. An acre foot is 325,851 gallons or a year’s supply for an average family in the Valley. The elevation is at 863.83 feet above sea level. The flow in the Merced River below MID’s facilities and the Crocker-Huffman Diversion Dam is approximately 1,7500 cubic feet per second.
