Hispanic chamber's Salsa Festival Saturday in Courthouse Park

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce said its first annual Salsa Festival will be Saturday, July 30, at Courthouse Park, Merced.

Event hours: noon-5 p.m.

Set up: 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Court House Park, N and 20th Street, Merced CA

Space is limited and food vendors acceptance is subject to the approval of the Merced County Health Department. Please note the application and fee due dates. All vendors are responsible to submit a Merced County Business license.

Applications accepted from June 27. Applications must be received in chamber office by July 18 to be considered.

Vendor prices: chamber member $150

Non-chamber member $200

A brief description of items being offered will be required: (please remember this is a family event)

· Registration deadline July 21, 2011

· Merced County Health Permit due July 21, 2011

· Mandatory Salsa Chef Meeting July 25, 2011

· Booth Set-up 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

· Final Inspections 12 p.m.

· Salsa Preparation 12 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

· Event Hours 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

· Space Cleanup Immediately after the event
