Highway construction will result in periodic delays on Merced-area roadways this week, CalTrans said.
Work is scheduled from Sunday through Wednesday on the right lane of southbound Highway 99 from Hammatt Avenue to Winton Parkway. Drivers should expect 15 minute delays between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Near Gustine, one-way traffic controls will be placed on Highway 33 from Plaza Road to the Highway 140/Sullivan Road junction to allow for paving work. Drivers should expect 15 minute delays between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The Southbound on-ramp to Highway 99 at 16th Street in Merced will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday as CalTrans crews repave the roadway.
