The Merced Irrigation District has released its daily report on the Merced River flow and Lake McClure storage and elevation information for Thursday, August 4.
Inflow into the lake is at 1,018 cubic feet per second. The storage at the lake is 974,307 acre feet, with capacity at 1,024,600 acre feet. An acre foot is 325,851 gallons or a year’s supply for an average family in the Valley. The elevation is at 859.79 feet above sea level. The flow in the Merced River below MID’s facilities and the Crocker-Huffman Diversion Dam is approximately 315 cubic feet per second.
