Race & Ride for Autism to be held Aug. 13 at Stockton 99 Speedway

The 3rd annual Race & Ride for Autism will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, from 6 p.m. at the Stockton 99 Speedway, 4105 N. Wilson Way in Stockton. Doors open at 4 p.m.

The race is presented by Carlos Vieira Racing Inc. and the Carlos Vieira Foundation.

It will be a 100-lap western late-model main event. Also featured will be vintage hard-tops, Ford Focus midgets, basically 4-cylinders and enduros.

Cost is $17 for adults, $12 for students, military and juniors, with kids 10 and under free; a family pack for two adults and two juniors is $43.

The motorcycle riders 51FIFTY Poker Run for Autism leaves Livingston and ends at the speedway. The cost is $25 per player and includes food, a shirt, ride pin and a pass to the race. Registration will be 11 a.m. to noon at Carlos Vieira Racing Inc., 15056 W. Peace Ave., Livingston, at the corner of Peach and Livingston.
