World Ag Expo looking for new products for competition

The World Ag Expo, scheduled for Feb. 14-16, 2012 in Tulare, is looking for the newest and most innovative products for the expo.

A panel of judges will select 10 new products to highlight at the expo. Each entry will be evaluated by a panel of production agriculturalists (working farmers and ranchers), agricultural professionals and university representatives. The top 10 are selected and announced at World Ag Expo and the winning entries will be showcased at the New Products Center.

Last year, the top prize was won by Mike Hansen, a farmer from Atwater, who invented the Ag Flag, which is used in irrigation.

Companies interested in the competition can download an application at www.worldagexpo.com. The deadline for entries is August 19. All entries must come from exhibiting companies who are in good standing.
