Shakespeare at the Library Tuesday, November 8, at 5:30pm, the Merced County Library will host Macbeth, featuring actors from the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. World Dance Class August 18th thru Dec 15th, 2011, the Merced County Arts Council is offering World Dance classes on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 pm. Suggested donations are $40 for 6 weeks or $7 per class; 2 for 1 (bring family or friend); Youth and Children (with adult) free. The class teaches basic line, circle and couple dances from around the world. Dances progress from beginner to intermediate level dances. No dance partner necessary!The class is designed to have fun, exercise, and to meet new friends! You'll find the instruction very supportive and non-intimidating. Singers Company for children this fall Singers Company is a non-competitive musical dance performing group for preschool through elementary-age girls. It provides a fun environment to increase music and dance ability, strengthen confidence and make friends.Through weekly practices and seasonal performances, every girl gets the chance to be a star!
