ATWATER -- Two men robbed a grocery store bank branch on Wednesday afternoon, Atwater police said.
The men approached a teller at the Bank of America on 1701 Bellevue Road, said they were armed and demanded money, according to the Atwater Police Department. The two men left with an unknown amount of cash and were last seen walking west toward Winton Way.
The Bank of America is located within a Save Mart store. No weapon was observed and nobody was injured during the incident.
The men are described as Latinos 18 to 25, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. Both men were described as wearing baseball caps and sunglasses.
Bank of America is offering $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of at least one of the men.
