One man arrested in Wednesday night Los Banos shooting

LOS BANOS -- A 19-year-old man is in custody after a drive-by shooting reported Wednesday night in the 800 block of Illinois Avenue.

Los Banos police say no one was hurt.

Witnesses said a dark-colored Chrysler sedan was spotted in front of an apartment after 8:30 p.m., and someone inside the car fired several rounds at the apartment, police said.

The apartment was occupied but no one was hurt, according to Cmdr. Ray Reyna.

The car and its occupant left the scene, but officer Nathan Bowling spotted the vehicle in the 700 block of Iowa Avenue and stopped it.

A man was then seen running away from the car.
