The Merced County Chamber of Commerce will hold its first quarter luncheon April 12 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Branding Iron Restaurant.
The meeting will focus on the county’s economy and will feature a discussion about plans and ideas for future solutions.
Panel speakers will include Merced County Supervisor Board Chairman Hub Walsh and Merced City Mayor Stan Thurston. They will continue the county chamber’s ongoing series of luncheons about the economy with their insights of what needs to be done to improve the economic vitality of the county.
The guest moderator will be David Spaur, former CEO of the Merced County Economic Development Corp. He’ll ask the panel questions received from the guests on furnished index cards.Community volunteer awards will also be presented.
