With little information and what law enforcement calls an uncooperative victim at the center of its investigation, police are trying to find out what led to a man showing up at the local hospital with a gunshot wound.

Memorial Hospital, Los Banos, notified the Los Banos Police Department of a gunshot victim at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived at the hospital, they encountered a man, the 21-year-old with suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police said the man was uncooperative and would not provide details about the shooting.
