UC Merced student reported missing

UC Merced's police department is asking for the public's help in finding a 24-year-old student who went missing last week.

Leonardo Villalpando-Ochoa was last seen March 3 driving a silver four-door diesel 2005 Chevrolet Silverado truck with chrome wheels, tinted windows and a California license plate, 8B00435.

Villalpando-Ochoa, a senior, lives off-campus in Ceres and is from San Mateo.

His parents reported him missing March 6.

He's a 5-foot, 11-inch Latino who weighs about 210 pounds. He has dark hair and brown eyes and may be wearing glasses.
