The Merced County Department of Mental Health, as required under the Mental Health Services Act, has released new documents for the public's review. They highlight the department's progress in implementing portions of the act.
The document, called the Implementation Progress Report of the MHSA Initial Three-Year Plan for Community Services and Supports, is available now. The public can submit comments on the report through June 1. A public hearing will be held June 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Merced County Department of Mental Health Conference Room, 480 East 13th Street, Building 2 in Merced.
The Progress Report will be posted on the Merced County Department of Mental Health Web site, http://www.co.merced.ca.us/mentalhealth/#progress. The public can request an electronic version of the documents by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Hard copies of the documents are available by calling (209) 381-6800.
