A Ceres man was killed in a traffic accident Sunday, police said.
Obed Albarron, 24, was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on Don Pedro Road near Mitchell Road when he struck a Ford Ranger pickup that was pulling away from the curb and into traffic, said Ceres Deputy Police Chief Mike Borges.
The accident happened about 1 p.m. in the 2800 block of Don Pedro.
Police said they don't know how fast Albarron was traveling. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 8 p.m., according to the Stanislaus County coroner's office.
