INFO: A free outreach event dedicated to dairy workers. This is geared toward employment issues, including health and safety at work. Many agencies will have tables set up that will have information about their services and representatives will answer questions. There will be a short theatrical skit, Mexican folklorico dancers, mariachi music, raffle and activities for the children. Presented by California Rural Legal Assistance . AUCTION FOR THE ARTS

INFO: Free admission, but a $5 donation at the door gets you five raffle tickets for door prizes. There will be a silent auction, entertainment, and wine and hors d'oeuvres. Proceeds go to fund Shakespeare in the Park. There will be a live auction of the actors that will begin about 5 p.m. Guests will be able to bid on their favorite actor from the adult cast of "The Taming of the Shrew," which will be presented in the 1930s Chicago gangster era. The highest bidder for each actor will have a picture taken with the actor, be mentioned in the Shakespeare program and be invited to the cast and crew party. FAMILY FUN AT THE PARK

INFO: Start your morning with family fun. At 8:15 a.m., families can participate in the two-mile Family Adventure Walk, where kids will pick up clues along the way to fill in their adventure packet. Fee is $10 per person and includes the adventure packet to collect clues along the walking trail and a goodie bag. If you haven't preregistered, you can still sign up at the recreation booth. Starting at 9 a.m., the Turlock City Arts Commission will be holding a Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest at Crane Park, followed by the Hilmar Community Band Concert in the Park at noon. Prizes will be awarded after judging at 1 p.m.
