Info: For all the great artists out there who would like a chance to show off their work, here's your chance. In conjunction with the annual Shakespeare in the Park program, booth space is available. This year, the play/festival will be held in the back part of Jacob Myers Park, where a specific area will be created just for this event. There is no booth fee. Info: The Patterson Garden Club invites the public to join members for a potluck. The club will install officers as well. This is the last Garden Club meeting of the year. SURPLUS PROPERTY SALE

Info: The city is having a semi-annual surplus property sale.

The sale includes autos, sports equipment, tools and computer equipment. A bid packet listing the 198 items up for sale is available at the city purchasing office and at www.CityofMerced.org. Property may be inspected at the purchasing office, 2525 O St., Monday through Friday, from 9 to 11 a.m and 1 to 3 p.m. Final bids will be accepted until 10 a.m. Thursday.
