The Ceres Recreation Department has rescheduled the grand opening of the $7 million Ceres Community Center for June 16 at 4 p.m.
The original May 30 date was postponed because of the elevator, which has now passed the state inspection.
Grand opening activities will include a ribbon-cutting by Mayor Anthony Cannella, tours of the center, class demonstrations and refreshments in the auditorium. The public is invited. The center is at 2701 Fourth St.
