HEALTHY AIR LIVING EVENT

When: Thursday, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Where: Air District Office, 4800 Enterprise Way

Info: Healthy Air Living is a year-round program aimed at reducing emissions by making air quality a factor in daily decision-making by valley residents, businesses and organizations. The meeting is open to any valley business. Agenda topics include:

— Employee trip reduction

— Incentives and grants available to valley businesses

— How to implement emission-reduction strategies in a business operation

— Exploring energy efficiency at the workplace

HISPANIC LEADERSHIP COUNCIL MEETING

Info: The Hispanic Leadership Council will have two speakers: Professor Dave Menshew, along with students of the Bio Technology Forensic Science team at Enochs High School, and Ruben Villalobos from Disability Resource Agency for Independent Living. KNIGHTS FERRY HOMECOMING

When: Sunday, 9 a.m to 4 p.m.

Info: The town will host its 82nd annual homecoming. The Knights Ferry Museum, upstairs in Miller's Hall, will be open. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge will serve its regular pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers visitors center will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Ice Cream Shop and the Knights Ferry Boutique will be open.
