INFO: The Modesto Police Department, along with personnel from other Stanislaus County law enforcement and fire agencies, is conducting free child safety seat checks. Anyone who is unable to attend but would like to have a free child safety seat check can schedule an appointment by calling the Modesto Police Department at 572-9500.
FATHER'S DAY TRAIN RIDES

WHERE: Railtown 1897 State Historic Park
INFO: Railtown 1897 plans to recognize Father's Day with a special offer for dads and their families. This day only, all fathers accompanied by one or more children can ride Railtown's regular trains for free. Trains depart hourly for a six-mile, 40-minute round-trip ride through the foothills.
