A Modesto man remained hospitalized Wednesday after he was critically injured early Sunday in a shooting at a home in the airport neighborhood, a police spokesman said.
The 33-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was listed in critical condition, said Sgt. Brian Findlen. Police did not release the victim's name to ensure his safety. Detectives on Wednesday evening were looking for a suspect or suspects, but declined to release further information.
The shooting occurred about 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the home in the 600 block of Thrasher Avenue, between Oregon Drive and Larkin Avenue. Police declined to say where the man was injured or whether anyone else was at the home when the shooting occurred.
