Fire damages Hughson business

A fire Tuesday night damaged a warehouse behind the NAPA Auto Parts store in downtown Hughson.

Owner Paul Postma said the fire, which started about 7 p.m., did not harm the store or its retail items. He said it was contained in the warehouse, which sits across an alley from Postma's business. He said it was not clear what started the fire.

The warehouse contained a store vehicle and some overstock items. He has been in business on Hughson Avenue since 1999.
