RIVERBANK — Coroner's officials have identified the woman hit and killed by a big rig last week as 46-year-old Joyce Cody.
Coroner's officials also said Wednesday that Cody was a Riverbank resident and did not live in Oakdale as police reported.
She was struck the morning of Dec. 30 as she walked her bicycle across the street at Atchison and First streets by a truck that was making a right turn, police have said.
The woman was dragged more than 100 yards before falling underneath the truck. She was run over and died immediately, police said.
