All roads leading into Yosemite Valley were temporarily closed due to snow, ice, and fallen trees, Yosemite National Park reported today.
The park issued an updated statement this afternoon that the roads would remain closed through this evening.
Highway 41 -- Wawona Road -- and Highway 120 -- Big Oak Flat Road -- are covered with snow and ice.
Highway 140 -- El Portal Road -- is blocked by fallen trees.
The Badger Pass Road and the Hetch Hetchy Road are also closed, the park said.
The storm that moved through Yosemite on Thursday evening brought about two feet of snow to the valley floor while Badger Pass received eight to 10 feet of new snow and Tuolumne Meadows got six feet.
The roads will be reassessed throughout the weekend, the park said.
