The city of Turlock is seeking bids for the reconstruction of the Carnegie Arts Center, heavily damaged in a fire.
The city received construction bids on the project last year but rejected them all after some of the bidders threatened to sue.
The city has estimated it will cost $7.8 million for the work, which includes a 19,000-square-foot addition.
Redevelopment money has been set aside for the project. Bids will be opened March 4.
