The Stanislaus County Fair has a new chief executive officer. But we won't learn who it is until next week.
Fair board members announced Thursday night that they have made a tentative selection but will not release the name until the individual goes through a background check.
Former CEO Tony Leo retired last year after 12 years on the job, citing health concerns and a desire to spend more time with his family.
Leo has been serving as interim CEO until his replacement starts work.
