High school students, mark your calendars.
More than 100 representatives from universities across North America will be at University of the Pacific's Stockton campus from 1 to 4 p.m. May 2 for the Western Association for College Admission Counseling fair.
There also will be workshops on how to apply for college, including one in Spanish. The event is free and open to the public.
It is the only WACAC fair in the Stockton-Modesto- Merced region this year and the first one in the area since 2007.
The event will be held in the Alex G. Spanos Center, east of the Pershing and Alpine avenue intersection in Stockton.
There will be a financial aid workshop and others on how to apply for private and state-run schools. A general information session about the college application process will be given in Spanish.
