CSUS Lip Sync Winners

Eleven schools competed Saturday at California State University, Stanislaus, in the High School Principals Spanish Lip Sync Contest organized by El Concilio. Each school is guaranteed $1,000 in scholarship money for participating. Patterson High took top honors and $2,500 in scholarships. Ceres High took the $2,000 second place prize, and Davis High came in third, earning $1,500. The three will be in the state championship March 27 at Central Valley High School in Ceres to face schools from the Stockton and Fresno regional competitions.
