Curtain Rises on Hickman Charter School Talent

About 100 home-schooled students from Hickman Charter School, seen during rehearsal, performed on the Foster Family Theatre stage at the Gallo Center for the Arts on Tuesday evening.

The honor choir and jazz performers showed off their talents. Hickman students also got to exhibit their work in an art show in the Gallo Center's main lobby.

Hickman Charter School opened in 1994, and its leaders wanted to celebrate their commitment to arts education with the performance for family, faculty and friends.
