Two people were arrested Tuesday in Ripon on drug charges after officers found about $2,000 worth of methamphetamine in their possession, authorities said.
Officer Scott Lindsay pulled over a car in the area of Shasta Avenue and North Ripon Road at 10:46 a.m., according to Ripon Lt. Ed Ormonde.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver, Rebecca Pfeil, 31, was driving on a suspended license. The passenger, Manuel Ordonez, 30, was on parole, Ormonde said.
A search of Ordonez produced methamphetamine with a street value of $1,200 to $2,000, Ormonde said. Discovered in the car were drug paraphernalia and a digital scale.
