California State University, Stanislaus, hosted a sports day for young children Friday, encouraging them to lead healthy lifestyles.
College basketball and soccer players led the activities, which included running, jumping, stretching and throwing.
Children as young as 3 from Turlock’s Head Start program participated in the games.
Others came from Crane, Cunningham, Osborn and Wakefield elementary schools. Above, Wilder Diaz, 5, runs around a pole on an obstacle course.
