Two candidates running for Stanislaus County sheriff and six competing for a superior court judgeship will field questions in Oakdale on Monday night.
Incumbent Sheriff Adam Christianson is defending his seat against challenger Turlock Police Capt. Rob Jackson.
The candidates for the seat on the superior court bench are vying for a vacancy created by Judge Don Shaver's retirement.
The Oakdale American Association of University Women and Sunrise Rotary are sponsoring the forum.
