The Oak Valley Bank on Dale Road was robbed Friday afternoon, the second time the bank was hit within 24 hours, authorities said.

A man described as either Asian or Latino entered the bank at 4120 Dale Road in north Modesto at 2:22 p.m. and gave the teller a note asking for money. Minutes later, the man left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Sgt. Rick Armendariz of the Modesto Police Department reported.

Police were trying to obtain a more complete description of the suspect, but he was said to have a tattoo of a star on his neck. He was wearing a light-colored shirt, possibly white, and sunglasses. He was last seen running toward Pelandale Avenue.
