Leon Panetta, director of the Central Intelligence Agency, will address graduates at California State University, Stanislaus, commencement ceremonies June 4 and 5. "Mr. Panetta is a man of depth and integrity, upon whom our nation depends to provide information critical to national security. We look forward to hearing the insight he will share with this year's graduating class as they take this momentous step in their lives," CSUS President Hamid Shirvani said. Panetta was chief of staff to President Bill Clinton from 1994 to 1997 and previously served 16 years in the House of Representatives. Panetta will join previously announced speaker Marc Lamont Hill at the ceremonies.
