The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors will discuss another round of layoffs Tuesday.
This time, 16 workers in the county's Community Services Agency stand to lose their jobs. That agency oversees such social services as certain unemployment programs, foster care, Juvenile Court and in-home assistance.
In recent weeks, supervisors have approved plans to lay off 92 employees in cutbacks aimed at reducing a $20 million deficit.
The supervisors are scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the basement chamber of Tenth Street Place, 1010 10th St., Modesto.
