Stanislaus County road delays, detours for week ahead

A sewer trunk project on Emerald Avenue will cause delays south of Highway 132 to California Avenue. A flagger will be directing traffic in both directions.

An 8-inch water main is being replaced on Latimer Avenue between Bystrum Road and Avon Street. Completion is scheduled for June 30.

The right turn lane from West Briggsmore Avenue onto northbound Sisk Road, and the right lane on southbound Sisk Road at West Briggsmore Avenue will be closed for the construction of right turn lanes at Carpenter Road-Sisk Road and at Orangeburg Avenue- Briggsmore Avenue. Completion is scheduled for August.

The southbound lane of Conant Avenue will be closed for street improvements between Rumble Road and Eicher Avenue. Completion is scheduled for August.

Motorists should expect delays on East Coolidge Avenue from Coffee Road to Gary Lane for a waterline project. Completion is scheduled for September.

Lane closures are anticipated for a Claus Road pavement project from Yosemite Boulevard to Creekwood Avenue. Completion is scheduled for August.
