Convicted murderer Mohammed Abdulla, 47, formerly of Fremont was found unsuitable for parole at Corcoran State Prison, the Stanislaus County district attorney said Thursday.
On March 19, 1992, while in a jealous rage, Abdulla drove from Fremont to Modesto at 3:30 a.m. hoping to catch his ex-girlfriend with another man.
He confronted his rival and shot him at point-blank range in the forehead, the throat and the leg.
Before the victim succumbed to those wounds, Abdulla ran over him, inflicting even more severe injuries.
This was Abdulla's fourth parole hearing.
If Abdulla is ever granted parole, he will be deported to Egypt.
