Tuolumne County sheriff's officials arrested two people suspected of burglarizing homes recently after a deputy found the pair in a parked vehicle with stolen items Wednesday evening at Columbia State Historical Park.
Shortly after 6 p.m., the deputy found the vehicle, which matched the description of a vehicle seen in the area of recent home burglaries.
The deputy found Aster Marie Graham, 29, and Jepthy Allen Borden, 23, inside the parked vehicle, according to the Sheriff's Department.
The deputy searched the vehicle and discovered property stolen in recent home burglaries.
Graham and Borden were taken into custody.
Some victims were called to the scene to view the property, most of it jewelry.
Several of the items were identified by the victims.
