Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputies arrested two teenage boys after another teenage boy was stabbed Sunday night at a Crows Landing Road home.
Lt. Jim Gordon said a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old were booked at the Juvenile Hall on suspicion of attempted homicide.
Gordon said the stabbing victim — who he believes is 16- or 17-years-old — is hospitalized but expected to recover.
Gordon said deputies were dispatched to a home in the 6900 block of Crows Landing Road, about three miles west of Keyes, about 11:15 p.m. to investigate the stabbing. He said there was a social gathering at the home when at least one vehicle drove by and words were exchanged between the people in the vehicle and at the home. He said a fight started, and the teenager was stabbed.
Three suspects fled on foot. Deputies found them about 10 to 15 minutes later, about a mile from the stabbing, as they were getting into two vehicles.
Deputies investigated and arrested two suspects. Gordon said the stabbing may have been gang-related.
