Stanislaus County to mail voters sample ballots next week

Stanislaus County will begin mailing sample ballots to registered voters on Monday, Registrar of Voters Lee Lundrigan said Friday. She said the county will starting sending permanent vote-by-mail and all-mail precinct ballots on Wednesday.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 2. Besides facing a wide range of county and local issues, Californians will choose a new governor, consider several propositions and decide a U.S. Senate race.

Citizens 18 and older may continue to register to vote until Oct. 13.

Stanislaus County has 225,414 registered voters.

Lundrigan encouraged voters with questions to stop by the County Clerk-Recorder/ Elections Office at 1021 “I” Street, Room 101, in downtown Modesto, or to call the office at 209-525-5200, or 525-5230 for assistance in Spanish.
