Friday's bail review hearing for accused swindlers Jim Lankford and Jon McDade was continued until Oct. 12 in federal court in Fresno.
Lankford, who owned Century 21 Apollo in Modesto, and his roommate defrauded lenders and elderly homeowners of $10 million, authorities say.
Meanwhile, tenants in three units on 14th Street in downtown Modesto, owned at various times by either man, said they have continued making monthly payments of about $850.
Property records show the five-unit complex is owned by McDade, who bought it in 2004 from Lankford, who bought it in 2003 from McDade, who bought it from Lankford a few weeks earlier.
