Keyes woman sentenced to 14 years in assault case

A 33-year-old Keyes woman was sentenced to 14 years in prison Wednesday after being convicted of assault with a deadly weapon and having inflicted great bodily injury during the commission of the offense, according to the Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office.

On Jan. 24, 2007, Laura Lee Dale confronted the victim at a trailer park in Keyes. Dale attacked the victim and used a knife to cut the victim's upper arm and stab the victim just above the lip.

Dale fled the scene after the assault. The victim survived the attack.
