Two women lured a west Modesto resident to open his front door, allowing at least four men, including two with handguns, to charge into the home and rob the victim of cash, authorities said.
At around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, two women knocked on the door of a home in the 1100 block of Desert Pine Court, according to Sgt. Rick Armendariz of the Modesto Police Department.
When the man opened the door, two armed men charged in, and at least two others followed. While the victim was held at gunpoint, the suspects ransacked the place before all fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, Armendariz said.
The victim told police he didn’t know the suspects. Two were wearing dark clothing, the victim said.
