Oakdale store robbed at gunpoint

OAKDALE - A man wearing a black ski mask robbed a clerk at Quick Stop Market at gunpoint Saturday evening, police said.

The robbery took place at about 7 p.m. when a man with a chrome revolver with wooden handles demanded money from the clerk at the store, located at 630 E. F St., police said. The clerk handed over cash, and the gunman left on foot.

The clerk was not hurt, police said, and the incident was caught on the store’s video camera. The suspect was last seen headed toward North 6th Avenue.

He is described as a man about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, 180 pounds, wearing a black ski mask, gray hoodie, dark jeans and black gloves.
