Roads will have some patchy areas of dense fog this morning that may slow the morning commute. Mostly sunny conditions are expected today with highs around 64 with light winds. Expect the fog to linger until 9 a.m. with visibility of less than a quarter mile.
A strong cold front is expected to move into Northern California Tuesday night into Wednesday. The front will bring rain and strong winds into Northern California and a slight chance of rain after midnight in Modesto with lows around 47.
Modesto received .01 inches of rain on Monday adding to the season rain total of 3.19 inches in downtown Modesto, according to the Modesto Irrigation District.
