Three Merced County men busted by state agents for participating in an international meth operation face 10 years to life in prison after pleading guilty Monday in federal court in Fresno. Roberto Rodriguez, 30, Francisco Rodriguez, 29, and Ricardo Franco, 22, were convicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. They were arrested April 15 in Winton after an undercover operation by a state multiagency task force. The bust yielded 25 pounds of crystal meth. The men had tried to sell the meth for $325,000 to a confidential informant, according to court documents.
