No rain is forecast for the next two days, but a dense fog advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. this morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the Modesto area for the next two days before rain is forecast to return on Tuesday, the weather service said.
A scant amount of rain — 0.01 inches — fell in downtown Modesto on Saturday, bringing the season total to 3.28 inches, according to the Modesto Irrigation District.
The forecast high temperature for today and Monday is 61 degrees, with the low both days at 45 degrees.
The weather service released its fog advisory Saturday night.
The advisory means that visibility in some areas is expected to be less than one-quarter of a mile. If you're driving, it's advised that you slow down and keep a safe distance from the car in front of you.
