Four parked cars were damaged when an unknown suspect plowed into them in Turlock on Monday night.
Sgt. Nino Amirfar said residents in the 800 block of South Avenue heard the hit-and-run crash shortly after 10 p.m.
Resident Johnny Delatorre said it was his car and his uncle’s three cars that were hit.
Two of them were parked on the right-hand side of the road in front of his house and the other two in the driveway.
Delatorre said bushes in his front yard were also ripped out, and he found them several blocks away.
He said he is surprised that the suspect’s car could cause such extensive damage and still drive away from the scene.
