Janet Balch: Sun-Star wasted a lot of paper on allegations against our DA
Re “Ex-prosecutors say DA made lewd comments” (Front page, Feb. 27): I am disappointed in the Sun-Star for devoting three pages of print to allegations – allegations that took 5 years to report. Shame! Did it take 5 years to be offended? Well versed in the law, why wouldn’t these two veteran prosecutors put an end to such offensive behavior immediately? Larry Morse was denied the opportunity to respond in a timely manner, and to litter the newspaper with such fluff is embarrassing. Report on facts, not allegations. Morse’s time is best spent elsewhere.
